HOW TO PREPARE MY CAN-DESIGNS FOR PRINTING?

Setting up Files – We work best with print-ready PDF files — export using PDF Press Quality settings and make sure “Preserve Editing Capabilities” is checked before you send.

Where possible, supply one file per SKU (that’s one file per individual can design) rather than a multi-page document. It keeps things clean on our end and helps your order move through pre-press faster.

Name your files clearly — your future self will thank you. It sounds simple, but it makes a real difference. Name each file something close to the actual product or design — for example, Jims-Beachy-Pale-Ale.pdf rather than Artwork-Final-v3-REAL-THIS-TIME.pdf. When it comes time to reorder, you’ll want to find that file quickly, and so will we. Vague file names are one of the most common causes of delays and mix-ups at reprint time.

If there’s any chance we might need to make tweaks to your artwork, send through packaged files with all linked graphics and fonts included. It saves a round of back-and-forth and keeps your timeline on track.

When in doubt, over-supply. We’d rather have everything upfront than chase files later.
